In honour of this years Dutch Design Week, Erosie, Space3 and Crackrock made a book about the sticker-/ streetart scene in Eindhoven, the Netherlands: PLAKBOEK, Eindhoven. (Freely translated: SCRAPBOOK, Eindhoven.) A nice 144 page visual book with work from the early stickerdays before 2000, until more recent work. The Lover, Orticanoodles and myself are featured too.

Pinky : Love is the Drug
8 AUGUST 2008 — 30 AUGUST 2008
Love Is The Drug a new show from Pinky
On a psychedelic trip to the dark side of the moon
Vivid moments in the face of the apocalypse
Everyone all together now
Iconographic graffiti art original
Superstylings for a new age
The handmade paper-cut king
Happening art here
Everything is fresh forever
Do what you feel
Realise your dreams
U are not alone
Get Up!
Pinky takes us on a Psychedelic Trip to the Dark Side Of The Moon with his new show Love Is The Drug, an epic art happening for summer ’08 at Ink_d Gallery Brighton. Pinky believes in the tenets of street art: get up, have a unique style and keep on moving. Catch him while you can.
Love Is The Drug will push his mastery of the freestyle papercut and dazzling use of paint, colour and iconography to the limit as he continues to explore the themes of Dark and Light, You and Me and Love and Life.
A British artist, graffiti writer and cut-up kid since the late 80’s it’s been a busy year for Pinky so far - with a USA Seattle solo show, the success of Shoreditch installation The Crunch, snagging the cover of Reload Magazine and kicking off at the Dreaweatts Urban Art Auction.

So I received a mail from Paine, pointing to something he found on ebay. This is one of many street signs someone is trying to sell. Not only is his story full of holes and spelling mistakes, but there fake too. This sign for instance I know from the bottom of my road in Brighton, so it’s not from London. also that D*Face stencil was never on there. The whole thing is bullshit.
Check out the item here

Just found out the decks that were on display at ‘Riki Tik’, Bond Street, Brighton, have now been taken down because a couple of chav idiots stole two of them.
One of mine and the other by REDFASH. If you see images online or the actual boards anywhere please get in touch.
The money from their sale was due to go to charity.
